They got the summer stuff in. They made me stop taking pictures because of their agreement with the warehouse due to the prices. They had every color cloth shorts - I got the pink salmon.

A lot of those Morehouse/Spelman alumnus wants to the keep the school branding exclusive. With my conversations of those that I know attended the school.
When the Morehouse President was exploring the option of online school degrees as a way to generate additional revenue for the institution- their alumni association actually boycotted it. They felt that the school would lose it merits, values, and ideology.
As a HBUC alumni (of the mighty Dillard University) I can understand the wanting to keep that foundational idea of HBCU exclusive. Not sure if I agree with it.

I think Spelhouse was the best combo to do this type of campaign with - even better suited than my alma mater, the Illustrious, the Mecca, Howard University.

I actually like that Ralph Lauren has the chance to drop designs for HBCUs. Tell them SpellHouse people to stop being so stuck up. They should be happy with the amount of donations and exposure they've received since "support HBCUs" has become the it thing.
I get those Morehouse online degree notifications via Facebook every time I log in. Thought about giving it a try, but decided to stay local and finish my degree with Jackson State online program.
With that being said, I wouldn't mind buying everything in this collection just to support and hope for more HBCU collabs.

Spelhouse collection is yet another moment we’ll be in awe at when looking back on the history of the brand. Really dope move. Even having attended another HBCU myself, im not sure how you can hate on this…

Now that I think about it, New Era just dropped a line of fitted caps and snapbacks for HBCUs and SpelHouse made the list. Would be nice to match a Ralph Lauren Morehouse or Spelman cardigan/sweater with these

Hoping to eventually use these to get something done. Worst case scenario would be some nice wool throw pillows.
Ideal? I’d love to find a way to make a nice looking patchwork piece of furniture. Potentially use them for seat/back coverings on bar stools, or a bench, or maybe a nice plush chair… not sure, will need to think throw how rest of room would look.
New fabric designs are:
-Oregon Trail Blanket
-Sacred Mountain Blanket
So far, all of them are 100% wool. Some vary in thickness, however. Will need to talk to a professional to see how it would all work best.

Also, I think I made a mistake…
Wanted to get some custom stuff done using the Ralph jockey/horse racing style design. Found someone selling the silk fabric on its own…
Bought it late one night while high on gummies. Forgot about it.
Got a package today… oh man, I definitely screwed up.
Had to go down to basement to unwrap it… I’ve got like 20+ feet of silk fabric with this design.
Was planning pillows originally… now I can make an entire silk pajama suit or something. Any ideas?

Maybe it could work for a jockey style jacket?

Damn bruh, you stay finding the wildest stuff I love it. I’d probably just make a couple short sleeve silk button ups and a few pairs of boxers
