that’s a good idea.
I still crave a casino button up. This might make a nicer summer short sleeve.
hadnt thought Of the boxers idea. Was thinking about a pair of shorts, but I still haven’t figured out how to wear the casino ones I got.
They are beautiful… some nice details.. but they few times I’ve worn em, folks assume I’m walking around with boxers on.
Anyone got the casino shorts and know how to wear/style em without the matchy matchy top?

You have some great pieces from the Ralph Lauren Trading Post Group. It's one of my favorite Home Collections.Posted about this a while back… but recently added some more fabric swatches.
Hoping to eventually use these to get something done. Worst case scenario would be some nice wool throw pillows.
Ideal? I’d love to find a way to make a nice looking patchwork piece of furniture. Potentially use them for seat/back coverings on bar stools, or a bench, or maybe a nice plush chair… not sure, will need to think throw how rest of room would look.
New fabric designs are:
-Oregon Trail Blanket
-Sacred Mountain Blanket
So far, all of them are 100% wool. Some vary in thickness, however. Will need to talk to a professional to see how it would all work best.
The ones I already had…
These are sold for $100 to $450 per yard by fabric dealers. I'm hoping that your custom furniture turns out epic.

I forgot what else was in my order that day, but I know my dog-print camo shorts that were cancelled still ended up in the bottom of the box anyway. #str8fLOurishment.

I went in on what was left on RRL and some blue label the rest was family. Didn’t even pay over a thousand for a purchase that regularly would have ben more than a couple of thousand. Salute my og shock aka the Dallas penn
I eventually would sell most of the blue label and some other items off.
Now let us not forget my brother just and the crystal skull he purchased,I forgot the retail but I know it was a “wth” price. Lol

Thanks, I didn't get the boots. My money was much younger back then. Dallas will always be "Mr. PoloGate" forever for blessing the people. He legit needs a tribute for it. And super producer, "Indiana Lauren" and the Crystal Skull...he closed it out with that haul. That quote is scripture now.A lot of that happened to some people I know

So I spoke with someone about the collection, students and alumnus are upset that they’re not getting any royalties from the collaboration. They were given $2 million dollars.
I see why Morehouse is currently looking for a new President, how they drop the ball on this?

so they were were given 2 million to use the schools name.. but failed to agree on additional royalties? I find that hard to believe. Thats a significant opportunity for all parties involved(ralph, schools)

Morehouse College and Spelman College will share in the $2,000,000 gift with ten other HBCUs around the country.
It’ll be given to them over a 5 year span and has to be split among 10 other HBCU schools for scholarships.

So Ralph finessed ten separate History Black Institutions for Higher Education? 🗣TEN different Institutions! ...that will only receive $200,000 each from RL, Corp.
If that isn't one of THE most unducated moves that I've seen by these Historic Institutions since Fisk University decided to sell part of their Georgia O'Keeffe Collection.
On the other hand, your favorite artists sign contracts worse than this everyday, so I'll move forward and enjoy to clothing.
I am excited to see which other HBCUs that will be immortalized in the future RL collections.

Im hoping Tuskegee University will be in the mix(as I am an alumni)...
Maybe RL can find a way to incorporate the Tuskegee Airmen in that collection.

When you were talking to folk, did anyone mention the mighty HBCU Kentucky State University (1886) getting a cut? I was in its hallowed halls, boots-on-the-ground Lo rockin' during the 90s golden' era where I earned my B.A. Hell, we actually need the money! Unfortunately, KSU probably would have cut the same awful deal. I have to admit, I wish our colors were different.
