I really hope Sony announces the 64G memory card for Vita; all these PS+ titles got me rotating between an 8GB and 2 4GB memory cards
edit: I mean a 64GB release date for NA
E3 is a month away and honestly this has been the least hyped E3 I've ever seen and I've been going since 2004. Lots of studios are under extreme budgetary restrictions so the normal push to get E3 demo's up and running that we've seen in the past have gone by the wayside. My project is not showing anything this year. We're just having meetings.
I hope there are some surprises. @empirestrikesfirst be on the lookout for info from me next week.
While it may not have been developed for the PlayStation 4 first and foremost, Naughty Dog is packing so many improvements into The Last of Us Remastered that it’s currently struggling to squeeze the game onto a single Blu-ray disc. Speaking with EDGE magazine, creative director Neil Druckmann explained that the re-release will boast in-game character models on par with those seen in the PlayStation 3 version’s cut-scenes, as well as re-rendered cinematics and more.
“We brought in all of the hi-res models, and then it's on par with what you saw in the cut-scenes,” the developer told the abovementioned publication, as reported by Videogamer.com. “There's an improved lighting model. After that, we started looking across the board; enemies look a little blurry up close, so that was pretty easy. We ramped those up, and saw a pretty significant difference.”
As previously reported, the studio’s targeting 60 frames-per-second during gameplay, and it’s bumped up the cut-scenes to match. “Our cinematics are now running at 1080p and 60FPS, and that involved rendering them all from scratch,” Druckmann continued. “It's interesting that now [instead of a technical bottleneck], the bottleneck is, 'Can we fit all of this on the disc?'”
Gamestop has a blood bond with Microsoft but it makes sense since Microsoft has so many xbox essentials that people have to buy
