I haven't bought a NFL game since 2K stopped making. Every time I try playing Madden, it feels like a parody/arcade game. So bad.

times have changed. the norm used to have consoles that came out that there actually 'ready' to come out. this 1st year or so of the XB1 and PS4 have shown that these weren't supposed to be out until Fall 14 (especially for the XB1).
also, people are still plenty happy with the performance of the PS3 and XB360. I cant imagine people wanting a new console in 4-5 years considering that developers would just be really getting the full potential out of the systems a couple of years earlier.

Lol that's why I didn't even bother downloading it for ps+
I was used to the ps4 version. Playing the ps3 version would feel weird now.

Negative both the xbox and the xbox 360 were rushed to the market.
Also a spike in PC gaming happened as a result of previous consoles becoming ancient as far as hardware is concerned.
