E3 2014: FINAL FANTASY 14 GETTING TWO NEW CLASSES, GAY MARRIAGE

Meet the Rogue and the Ninja.
BY LUKE KARMALI

Square Enix has announced some of the new content headed to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, including two new classes and same-sex marriage.

In the first part of a livestream held during E3, producer Naoki Yoshida announced that Patch 2.4 will introduce the Rogue class to the game, which will in turn unlock the Ninja job.

Rogues will be a stealth class making use of dual weapons, along with a heady mix of poisons and enhanced movement skills. Ninjas take this then add magical abilities centred around ninjitsu abilities and hand gestures.

Additionally, Patch 2.4 will add the ability for two characters to marry regardless of race, nation or gender. Such a feature was already present in other MMOs like The Elder Scrolls Online, so it's a nice touch that's as relevant from a gameplay standpoint as it is in terms of social commentary.

We'll be going hands-on with the new patch in the next couple of days, so be sure to keep your eyes on IGN for all the latest news as it breaks.

Excited to see what those classes do.

GT6 might probably be the last time PD gets away with their gimmicks. Other titles already gaining an upper hand. All they have now is the car list.

It's looking like Lily Bergamo was cancelled in lieu of let it die. It's a shame because the anime style did look really cool, nut I guess that was more concept rather than game. Like black tusks teaser last year

How do u guys feel about Playstation TV coming to the states? I'm actually a bit excited. I could see it being helpful for me when I have a chick move in or come over etc.

With PlaystationTV could you use two separate TVs instead of Split screen games?

And if I'm correct, you can switch rooms if you wanna continue playing your PS4 instead of moving the whole console? It's definitely something I'm considering, $99 sounds like a reasonable price for it too.

Yea, you can use remote play on it to stream your PS4 to another room in 720p.
As for the first question if you mean one player in one room on the ps4 and the other in another room connecting via remote play then yea I can't see why it wouldn't work.

It's great for you guys who'd collected Vita games on PS+ without having a Vita.

Instant Game collection.

the limitied edition always sells out of any game hence the term limited... so with that you do need a preorder... everything else is fair game

Yeah, for instance, split screen online CoD or something. But instead of splitscreen, each player can have their own full TV. That would be way too dope.
