Do you guys think a 2TB hard drive is worth putting into the PS4? Best Buy has one right now for $100.

I thought I would've wanted to add music to it but I'll probably take advantage of DLNA when that becomes available.

Definitely, but you can probably save a couple bucks by hitting eBay

The jawn im talm bout 200 beans, a hdd thats 2tbs is a good 400 if you dont want it to crash, but u can get a cheap one and potentially lose all your ish

My TLoU is still crashing

Deleted everything, reinstalled, rebuilt the database...initialized it..switched up internet connections still crashing.

Works fine on my boy's PS4

I have 1tb in mines now but seeing as I'm making the push next month going all digital I'm thinking ssd. Do the games load faster?

Some do and some not as much. It really varies from game to game but I have seen differences even on the PS3 as I put one in there. My maps would load instantly for GT5, same with Skyrim. I have a hybrid in my ps4 and it's sufficient for now.

If you plan to stream games, use twitch and please you the quality to best.

I believe the last update should've enabled the blue ray playback.

Defintely since everygame installs onto the harddrive. It'll save you deleting games in future.
I didn't know there are 2TB ones that fit in the PS4's HDD bay now.

I've got a 1TB SSHD and the load speeds are better than stock harddrive from the results I've seen online. If you can afford a 1 TB SSD then even better but the last time I sae one, it was more expensive than the PS4 itself.

Yea, it's a Seagate external HD. Saw the step by step instructions last week. Probably gonna do it today. I don't have an eBay about and I don't have the patience to wait on Amazon's delivery

The last update enabled blu ray to work, and I've watched a couple of movies on it so it's definitely working.

Have you updated your PS4 to the most recent update?

Last update? I used my PS4 to play a Blu-ray a loooooong time ago. That was one of the features of the day one patch if I remember correctly. I think 3D support was added recently.

FTR. I still prefer using my PS3 to watch Blu-ray movies.

For 2k14, ghosts, and some old ps3 sports games I got 98. Not bad at all
