Question... If I buy 2 of the same games, are they interchangeable for 1 PS4? Like if I get 2 MK X games, if I play story mode on 1 and put the other in, will all my progress still be saved?

I bought a ps4 because I no longer have the urge to play Xbox or games like halo competitively.. Even though now and then I have flashbacks to how hard I used to compete.. I think of ps4 as my retirement. Still getting used to their culture.
