The briefing will be held in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 16, at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm GMT, and 1am in Japan. During the conference, Square Enix will discuss its "exciting slate of games coming out in 2015 and beyond."

EA needs to get back in the lab and do another Godfather.

The fight night hands + saturday night special + streetsweeper=I'm running the city.

Still can't understand how shadow of mordor is so well regarded, game was a button masher with a weak story, if it released any other year besides the dreadful 2014 it wouldn't have made a blip

The nemesis system would have made it well regarded in any year. Just not possible GOTY well regarded

Story sucks but the combat was only brainless if you fought small groups of small fry all the time. Personally I constantly went up against captains and warchiefs to make it interesting. The planning involved in that was the best part of the game. Especially when you found a guy who was immune to almost everything.

SOM enhanced upon the Arkham combat, which is far from repetitive. Getting critical hits, keeping a combo, and knowing which enemies to counter/evade helped the combat not be repetitive. Also you could turn off the prompts, which made the combat harder. Instead of seeing "press triangle", you had to know what specific enemies types would do.

Great environment/story, and was non-linear.

Lastly, the best feature of the game the nemesis system.

That's what put SOM on the map.

Exactly, I'd always be in the strongholds taking on 3-5 captains.

Figuring out how to kill almost immune captains was hilarious sometimes. He'd be immune to everything, except bees.

SoM was cool man, you get far enough in the story and you start converting some orcs to fight for you.

Hopefully it's not just the eidos and western stuff.

But colour me excited. SE are definitely on the upswing.

Lots of conferences this year. Might have to take the day off.

I have to take some time off before I head off to Drill SGT school so I think that week might be a good time to request leave. I just want to see a Star Ocean V trailer, DQ XI reveal and FF XII HD Remastered for PS4. I think anything else from S-E is a bonus.

If Square Enix is gonna show any Western stuff, I want a successor to Hitman: Blood Money.  That last Hitman game was basic compared to Blood Money on the PS2.
