The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Ah didn't even realize they were made by 2 developers.  Wish Hardline was more popular honestly.  I enjoyed it when I played the demo but I can definitely see people not liking it as much as previous Battlefield games with the completely different theme.

Yea, but look at Battlefield Bad Company. People loved/love that series.

I honestly think Hardline didnt stray far enough from what the mainline series does. It went with cops and robbers and proceeded to do everything almost as good as Battlefield.

Is Bad Company drastically different than BF4 in terms of the theme/setting though (at least more so than Hardline)?  I played Bad Company a bit when it was first released and a little BF4 here and there but to me they both just seem like FPS war shooters.  Granted it's been a long while since I played Bad Company but looking back it just seems like Hardline strayed farther from the main series than Bad Company did.

Hardline is just a bad copy of BF4 imo it follows the same type of layout and offers much less stuff l. The MP is okay but is seriously lacking with the weapons and vehicles.

I know on PC there are more active players for Bf4 then there is for Hardline. I tried a hardline but I just couldn't enjoy it. BF4 >>Hardline and it's not even close imo.
Yep even tho BF4 had tons of bugs upon release it had a huge amount of customizations with weapons and vehicles. There was a lot of stuff you could do with the classes as well. The destruction is nice too and it sucks how little of it there was with Hardline

They play a bit differently imo. Bad Company was more of a cartoony type of shooter imo. It didn't try to go the more realistic route in terms of design that the main entries of BF did like BF3. They play the same for the most part tho but they do feel unique to each other to some extent.

Bad Company 2 was just a whole lot of fun idk why but DICE hasn't been able to capture the magic what made that game great. Even with all the stuff added to later entires in the BF franchise

I could never get into bf4 with all the bugs on ps3 and ps4... i cant even install it on my ps4... i would like to but it just stalls..

Nah, i won't buy a game digitally, 99% chance i will sell a game after i beat it.

I'll call my local mom n pop tomorrow.

I need Final Fantasy X/X-2 and The Witcher 3 to hurry up and drop. I'm really not in the mood to play the PS3 and after Bloodborne I don't really have any other PS4 games to play right now.

The Witcher might just have too much content :lol

never thought i would see someone say his especially with the way games are being released now :lol
im not complaining but I'm really curious to see how the content is presented and how much of it is actually meaningful to the story. I've played plenty of games where the side quests are just simply 'go here and talk to X' and then the mission is complete. 200 hours just seems like a lot of one game :lol
