The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Could be something or nothing.
I don't think PS5 has any DLSS like features but there have been rumours floating around.

That Gill stage that Dan is playing on is amazing :wow: Guile, Ryu and Sagat as Olympian gods is Gill’s level of creepy but dope
Sfv with a sf4 mechanics would've been gucci.
That whole new fight system turned me off.
But ay, evolution...

SFV > SF4 easIly. Focus attacks broke SF4. Ultras were uncharacteristically strong plus cheesy and hit frames got a little wonky toward the end of the games lifespan. SF5 took about a year and a half to really get going but the game is so polished and beautiful. I feel like I’m playing a heavy version of SF2 champion edition but with the technicality of SF3.

I'm fully prepared to be disappointed with today's SoP event :smokin

SFV the past few years has been amazing. The game was a bit stiff at first but now there's a lot of ways for players to express themselves with their distinct styles.
Capcom also made a big step from IV with the animations and graphics.

They just need to stop shooting themselves in the foot with the unforced errors for VI.

No idea if it's real or not but might show up in SOP.

See that's it right there.
I'm less technically savy and more, how u say, linear..
So no surprise on mentioning sf3. Good game.
But I got no time for all the technicality in order to excell at a game. So you see where I'm coming? Sf4 best catered in that regard.
Like I said, throw that sf4 system in there somewhere and I'm in.

I think SF4 at a high level is more complicated than SF5.

One frame links, FADC's and option selects were not easy. Well nothing was easy for me but execution felt harder in SFIV.
Then you had the nonesense vortex lol.

FADC did make for some nice looking combos though.

I didn’t play any other SF so V is good with me. I just cannot believe how difficult it is. You have to low key have a degree to play it at a high-level.

This is why I became a stream monster. Playing fighting games online will humble you quickly like nothing else.
I remember it taken me long to beat Seth in SFIV then went online thinking I could play with the big boys.

Played in a lobby with a dude's blanka and I swore he was telepathic over the internet because he read every single one of my moves every time.
Just made me realise, there's some things in life you're going to be trash at

You ain’t lying one bit. I am super proud though that I hang around ultra silver for the most part with Alex. Who is one of the worst characters in the game.

When I start getting close to gold the matchups I start to run into are absolutely demoralizing.

rage 2 on sale for $12 is it any good? The first one was a snoozer.
2nd is worse.

Disc 1 on the first game was actually quite good - you could tell that the second part of the game (Disc 2) was rushed. Game ended so damn abruptly that I thought my game copy was bugged out.

Rage 2 looked like garbage from the start, some type of Borderlands clone.

Sick and tired of these post apocalyptic, open world/sandbox games. Make smaller tighter games with populated areas for a change. :smh: :smh: :smh:

only sf game I was really any good online was 3rd strike. yun and chun li were so overpowered almost broken even. played 4 and 5 but not nearly as good, didn't put the time in the lab.

Just ready for SF6 at this point. V hasn't been it for me, and I love the SF series. Turned to Tekken 7 this gen since Capcom decided to focus only on SFV :smh:
