The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Nah bud, they've got a TV/Movie business, music, electronics, healthcare, etc...
I’m aware of what they have. PlayStation is their most profitable division and if I remember correctly, it was the only division that was profitable one year or quarter or something like that.

Man I hope I’m able to get a preorder

All these sneaker bot dudes or whatever already talking about trying to get as many as they can

I'm going all out... PS5, SEX, 3070. Then I'm good for the next 5 years unless I do a mid-gen upgrade or something which I probably will. I should probably sell my Switch now and wait for the 4k version next year since I hardly ever touch the damn thing.

If we get Avengers on PS4, do we also get it for the 5? That's the only thing keeping me from copping this game right now

Got my first W in Hyper Scape last night :pimp: me and my boy were in squads with one down and just barely managed to hold out for the win. Feels good mang

Madden gonna keep selling no matter how bad it is.
Year after year, it's the same story. The game isn't really complete until all the patches are released lol.

By then, the game is on sale for $15 lol.

And the new version is releasing lmao.

The Madden/COD/GTA/2K crowd will never stop buying those games. Doesn't really matter how bad or good they are. At least with GTA and COD there are other decent games in their respective genres. That should motivate the devs to improve. But Madden literally has no competition, might as well say the same for 2K. And with people buying those games by the millions every year, the devs know they can just get by doing the bare minimum.

blackboyfly blackboyfly i personally believe the covid/long-distance everything, both play into this.
And they know it. Watch em push even more $#@% yearly. It'll get worse.
Same deal with TV n music.

It's now a race between their gaming division and Imaging and sensing.

Sony are killing it with their camera and sensors. They dominated the phone sensor market already then things took off once phones started having 3 cameras per handset.

Gaming will be back in the lead this year because of Covid. They just need to overturn the Phone division but they're on the right track with the Xperia 1 ii

Don't you mean 3090. Don't cheapen out on us.

I'll give you that for most developers. But these sports devs? Nah, they pull the same mess every year. If anything, it's like you said, stuff will start to be even worse due to coivd 19

They got some sense knocked into them.
Probably for the best as well.

Sony said they're picking by your gamertags and **** right?
Only for direct orders from them.
Amazon and the rest will have their own stock as normal.

Agreed, I bought a new Sony camera rig this summer... stunning focus capabilities and color science. Haven't been so impressed with a tech device in quite a long time.
