PlayStation 4 Comes with 500GB Hard Drive, Other Models a Possibility
Sony dropped a megaton announcement tonight when it revealed that the PlayStation 4 would cost $399 — $100 less than Microsoft's Xbox One — but what exactly does MSRP net you? In addition to the specs detailed in February, Sony has confirmed that the PS4 will ship with a 500GB hard drive, putting it toe-to-toe with Microsoft.
What's more, Sony isn't ruling out the possibility of producing additional models. In a post-event interview, SCEA president Andrew House told IGN that the company hasn't finalized its plans for the range of SKUs it will offer. House noted the success the company has found with game and accessory bundles, though it's unclear if the company is also considering larger storage capacities.
Naw, it's most likely the black dude from Homeland.
The one that hates that white chick who had sex with the main character.
Edit: yup, it's the dude from homeland.
as far as disc based media goes, nopeQuestion about the hardware: is there anything groundbreaking or innovative about the PS4 as far as hardware goes?
PS1 had regular CD-Rs, PS2 had DVDs, PS3 has Blu-Rays, now so does the PS4. Feels like it's more of an incremental upgrade like a iPhone 4 to iPhone 4s.
im pretty sure its in directly in between the two blocks, very slickOk where the heck is the Blu-Ray drive slot to insert game discs and blu-ray movies?
I'm old school and still do most of my game purchases through retail and physical disk.
