So went to pre-order a PS4 today. I did it at EB Games (Gamestop of Canada)

- Woman said that all their allocated X1's had been pre-ordered.

- Only the 2nd person to pre-order PS4

Their trade-in deal is pretty good right now. All told, I paid off the $400 with extra left over.

- $150 for my 160GB Slim PS3

-$120 for my 4GB Xbox Slim

- $10 for my PSP

- $18 a piece for some old controllers

- $40 for my Xbox Turtle Beach Headphones

- A bunch of random games. PSP games still getting $5-$10

toys r us got me in a similar fashion while thirsting for the n64...traded in my super & a slew of games & it only knocked off $150

they violated on that PSP and headphones. i mean i should expect the same i got the first gen PSP still tho for 10 cash?. and my turtle beach x12s retail at least 100$ cash, plus that **** works for PC, $40 cash is disrespectful lol.




i can see FF15 being on 360. they did it already for 13/14. KH is an RPG that has always been sony, with the exception of handhelds. if they didn't do xbox for KH2, why do it for 3?

besides, disney isn't gonna move numbers with a xbox kh3. most people will cop for that ps.

Today at its Final Fantasy spotlight panel, Square announced that Kingdom Hearts III will be coming to Xbox One.

Kingdom Hearts III was announced yesterday for PlayStation 4 and will mark the first time an entry in the Kingdom Hearts franchise has appeared on Xbox.

Hybrid is more reliable than most in these threads, but people want to hear it from SE, Sony, or M$.

But SE basically did say it when they didn't say it, right before mentioning FFXIV exclusivity.

they just "officially" announced it during their "future of final fantasy" event. Although it sounds like and I hope Hybrid corrects me if I'm wrong, the games will be lead developed for PS4 and then ported to X1

At the end of the day, the lack of clutter, the ease of just dumping it in front of them, and putting it toward a new system lessened the gouging that took place.

The PS3 and 360 trade in values were pretty great, though.

14 will only be on the playstations.
15 will be PS4 and most likely X1. I assume ps3 as well since it was originally made for it, so wouldn't be surprised if 360 gets as well.

I agree KH3 will sell more on PS mostly because the KH fanbase is mostly sony users.

I took your word for it yesterday and after that the implication that we heard last night. SE already announced KH3 for X1 just now though.

My comment was only in regards to people wanting sources and only finding rumors.

I can do game by game. If it helps the developer by having it, and I can still decide if that game is worth it to me, I think its a win win.

I preordered mine on Amazon. Don't wanna deal with the long lines at GameStop. If I get more money you bet I'm going to best buy to stock up and sell some.

Anyways, I called another local GameStop and they said they only had 26 slots for PS4.

Microsoft only had 8. WTF are they trying to do here?

Yeah they definitely said they would give developers options to do it back at reveal, which is basically what we have on playstation purchases nowadays. Microsoft is blocking it hardware wise though which is where the big difference is, the entire console versus just specific games.
