PS3 games have always been on blu-ray though. And i dont think game length will be getting longer since they will be using most of the space for the graphics and audio. If anything the single player campaigns from the current generations have been getting shorter and shorter, I can see that trend continuing.

Im making the switch. Well, the return. I had a PS1 & a PS2 but after my 2 was stolen

 I switched over to my 360. Now I want to buy a PS3, just to catch up on all the games I missed (Killzone, Uncharted, God of War, Resistance, and now The Last of Us) What do you guys think? Buy a PS3 or wait it out?

You know, that's one of the reasons I'm hesitant on getting the PS4 (not considering the XBox One at all though). In the past couple of years the only good game with an interesting story (until the ending) that took me 20+ hours to finish, without doing every optional side mission or looking for items, was Mass Effect 3. Every other game I played took me around 10 hours to beat and felt like a ripoff since I paid $60. I remember games taking around a week to finish, or maybe that was because I was younger and not good at video games

I haven't played through a good storyline in forever...well DeadSpace 3 and Bioshock Infinite's stories were interesting, but the gameplay was extremely annoying to me. Didn't even finish them, just Youtube'd the endings I'm hoping the Last of Us is good

I'm in the same dilemma, but I'd wait it out.

I'm expecting the Last of Us to make it onto the PS4 in one way or another.

As for other games I'm hoping Gaikai will take of it.

Btw, they need to change Gaikai name. I keep typing Kazai or Kanzai

What you guys think. Sequels or next game

CONCEIVABLY, I am all for. Turns the wait from game to game from 5-6 years to 2-3.

However, SE really needs to get the house in order and have dedicated teams. These producers going back and forth while games remain unfinished only causes all products to suffer.

Also, if they take fan feedback seriously, we might see some really great sequels.

XIII-2 was better than XIII, and it really didnt change much other than the story and the way you progressed.

Homie people were getting shot over PS3 at launch lol. No one's buying a Wii U and the vast majority of people prefer PS4 over the one right now. Amazon and alot of Gamestops already can't guarantee a launch system. It'll be very very hard to find one in stores the first couple of months unless you know your stores delivery schedule.

People had ps4 ordered before they even knew the Hard Drive specs. Call me stupid but i am going to take my time when it comes to this. $400 or $500 for me is kind of a big purchase so i would like to be fully educated.

If that is reality....im starting an NT pool for 10 people. We all pitch in $6....and we by new games whenever a good one comes out...put it on the cloud and we can all play it whenever we want too. That will save me a fortune on new games. But i am unclear if thats how it actually works. Just imagine how big the game library will be and all the games you will be able to play. For the price of one game...you get 10!

But Microsoft knows 10 family members don't game...or even live in the same house hold...so why 10? 10 is a lot, and there is no way to authenticate if some one is in your family or not. So i just am a little taken back by the whole thing. But if it works like they say....hypothetically...id rather own an xbox1. Even if you can't play the game simultaneously as one of your 10 "family members" after 2 months of ownership you will own the entire xbox1 library for under $120 a person....so i will just play a game some one else isn't.

Someone suggested that maybe the family members have to have the same ip address as you when they're playing you're games. This seems plausible.

microsoft is too smart to be taken advantage in the way that you're suggesting.

That would make more sense. Like right now, in my house we have 3 xboxes. So it would make more sense to be able to share them going by IP address.
