imo, squaretrade is better.
they'll refund your purchase if they can't fix it.
They may even let your get your ps4 fixed by $ony, then reimburse you.
They allow their customers who own iphones to do something very similar to this.
You'dhave to call them for verification.

I have no clue, just turned it on, and got nothing. No feed to the tv, and the light just stayed blue.how?
I have the bestbuy protection plan. I took it back today and got a giftcard for the value of the ps4. So i'll get another one with the next shipment.

60.00 is the accidental plan right?
Just out of curiosity, why didn't you buy the non-accidental plan? Since it's more likely for the console itself to fail? well, unless you aren't careful with your ps4 and move it around a lot, i can see why you would get the accidental plan
Not hating, just want to know why...I plan on getting the non-accidental since my ps4 just lays there and don't ever move it

I actually wasn't planning to cop until maybe october of next year but my boy hit me up telling me when the 3 years is almost up I'd be able to make a claim to get maybe get a newer one. or "slimmer" version if it happens. I charged it so I didn't really care when I did it.

The bottom line is that squaretrade protects my purchase right down to the purchase price. $ony doesn't do that.
If ST sees that it's easier to refund me my money rather than fixing or replacing my ps4, now I have $400. Which would buy a new ps4.
I'd rather that be my outcome than getting a refurbished replacement from $ony.

Anyone have any experience with a Plantronics headset? The RIG to be specific. I've been through two Turtle Beach headsets and I'm going with a different make this go around. I would try the Astro's, but that price. 
I bought a clip on 3.5mm jack microphone off eBay for a dollar and change that I'm going to try with the controller and then have headphones hooked up to the TV and see how that goes. :\

I got the best buy protection plan for both xbox one and ps4. I went cheap with the wii u and did not buy any insurance cause I have never had any nintendo system die on me. My gamecube is still in top shape View media item 657800

Sony's newest video gaming console, PlayStation 4 was a hit with fans and users after its launch on 15 November. However, the share button in PlayStation 4 has been problematic for the users.
The share button allows users to share screenshots and videos on Facebook,Twitter, Twitch and Ustream. Sony shared on Twitter that there have been more than 6.5 million shares captured from the PlayStation 4 on 13 December.
However, Reddit users have been complaining about the problem with the DualShock 4's Share Button after its launch. The button reportedly showed no problems in the beggining but they are cropping up now.
"Now it's not even capturing what I wanted. Its like it captures a couple minutes before what I wanted. I won't ever be able to see my first heli pilot kill again Thanks, Sony," said one Reddit user.
Another said, "There's a bit in Killzone where if you melee a guard he falls onto a ramp to an elevator. When you start the elevator the ramp flips up and so does the guard. Silly really, but it was a moment I wanted to share, yet the system had only stored the very end of the last chapter. Disappointing."
Sony needs to get it together man I just took out the whole team on BF4. I hit the capture button and they give me the previous 15 minutes
