im not having a good time bros.
i got home afterwork figuring i could troubleshoot my ps4 and get it right. after 2 hours on the phone with playstation, nothing has been fixed. they blame it on my isp now saying its not the ps4's fault. for whatever reason, my ps4's internet connection is all over the place. i have it plugged directly into the ethernet port in the wall. we tested the connection and it was at 15.4mbps, then 20, then 17, then 32.
They said ooooooooooooh THATS the problem! I said i dont get why my xbox360 (which is directly next to it, AND on, AND running netflix as we speak) runs flawlessly in every on this network, and the ps4 can download games and apps, but not use netflix or show my friends list. they said well the ps4 is so powerful it NEEDS a stronger connection to run. I said, seems counter-intuitive to have a brand new system that requires people to update their entire internet setup to watch netflix...
in the meantime i downloaded crackle just to test it. downloaded crackle in under 10 seconds, set it up, started watching resident evil. ALL of that within 30 seconds. but netflix wont work saying my device isnt connected to the internet? so they told me to call my isp tomorrow and open up some certain ports. they said that would at least clear up my friends list issue. im not happy bout this $400 machine needing troubleshooting out of the box. and the troubleshooting didnt even work. not happy at all.
Run the PS4 straight from the cable modem if you can, also ISP's do not block any ports except 80, which is only to prevent you making your home a webserver, and even then its only upload and has no effect on any connected devices.

With a new entry in Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed Uncharted franchise on the horizon, it seems reasonable that Sony may want to clue new PlayStation 4 adopters into the previous escapades of Nathan Drake and crew. Fascinatingly, Italian publication Games.it hypothesises that the platform holder may just do that, too, as an upgraded Uncharted Collection is supposedly on the way to Sony’s new machine.
A short translated report published by the gigantic European site speculates that a compilation containing popular PlayStation 3 titles Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception could be on the way. Interestingly, the report also mentions that PlayStation Vita spin-offs Uncharted: Golden Abyss and card game Uncharted: Fight for Fortune may be thrown in for good measure as well.
