Brahs, I have a confession to make. I've been in the Xbox thread talking about Titanfall. My cousin is gone for a month so he let me borrow his Xbox One, and I've been enjoying myself ever since. I have previously expressed my lack of interest in FPS because I have been FPS'ed out over the past 10 years. But do yourselves a favor and try Titanfall

Its a refreshing take on FPS - wallrunning, parkouring, double jump boosters, wall sticking (like the first time you played Megaman X) Titans and all the little nuances that come with them. Put your prejudices and fanboying aside and give Titanfall a shot. When I return the Xbox, I'm going to definitely get it for the PC.

I don't understand why anyone would want to play a twitch FPS with a controller. I'm not saying people can't play well with a controller but I certainly feel like a mouse and keyboard is certainly a superior way to play.

That being said, I thoroughly enjoy the game. On PC.

The first and last online multiplayer games that I played were Counterstrike and Unreal Tournament back when I was a Sophmore in highschool 2001.

Mouse + Keyboard is def the way to go and I remember being much better with them. But I went the way of the console to play casually and played single player campaigns and I guess I didn't need much twitch to take down the AI

So theres a bluray app your suppose to download when you pop in a dvd/bluray on the xbox 1. I guess the guy went offline without downloading it.

I just tried it out and it plays offline.

If you're not online it how does it check for an active PS+ membership.

IDK, but here's my assumption.
The ps4 has it's own date/time system. Let's say you purchase ps+ till 3/26/15.
 Then all your ps+ games would be playable online/offline until 3/27/15.

The free ps+ games(excluding online only games) work offline.

Project Cars will support PS4's Project Morpheus

Upcoming racing simulation Project Cars will support Sony's recently revealed virtual reality headset Project Morpheus, Slightly Mad Studios has announced.

"We're proud to announce today that Project CARS will be supporting Project Morpheus giving players a totally fresh and exhilarating new perspective on what it feels like to sit in the cockpit of a high-performance machine screaming around a beautiful location," explained a blog by the studio.

"Virtual reality is a perfect fit for racing games since the game world literally comes rushing towards you from the distance and the increased sense of depth and speed that stereoscopic vision affords you makes this incredibly real and tangible. So when you're racing you get a much better perception of distances and position and you feel far more enveloped by that world rather than just looking through a window at it."

The post explains that head-tracking via the PlayStation Camera will make it possible to move around the cockpit too.

"We think players are going to be blown away by Project Morpheus when they get their hands on it," adds Slightly Mad. "Project Cars is all about stepping into the shoes of a race driver and taking that ultimate journey towards the hall of fame. Virtual reality and Project Morpheus are going to allow you to experience every start light, every corner, every finish line now through the driver's eyes like never before."

At first I didn't really care for Driveclub. Then after it originally got delayed and in turn all the previews said the delay made it better then I started looking forward to it. Now I've lost all interest again.

Speaking of indies, i was browsing through the PSN store on the PS4.  Theres this one game reminds me of Abe's Oddworld when i watched the preview video, i forget what its called.  Game looks pretty good, they even through in some portal elements to it.  Someone help me out and post the game or vid, i'm at work.  Its $14.99

I didnt get that Deception game yet, im still on my baby 4 GB vita card. and its used up entirely for X-2.

VR needs to be 1080p. Because the screen is close to your face, you'll be able to see the pixels clearly with anything less than 1080p which ruins the immersion.

The framerate also needs to be at least 60fps to prevent motion sickness and the game was already confirmed to be 1080p/60fps so something has to take a hit in VR mode which will probably be the graphics.

Still, I won't be too worried about how it looks though. They'll find ways squeeze as much out of the system. They always do.

Yea it defintely will be 1080p. Just don't expect inFAMOUS or Killzone type graphics though.

Games you get for free with PS+ need to have a connection to play.

Games you purchase can be played either way. Been like this since PS3.

Yeah it's stupid. Sometimes it locks me out of Hulu+ and Netflix unless I sign in and out of PSN. It's so kdnfljknaksdnf annoying.

Finished Second Son this morning through the good path. Only thing right now is trying to rid of the remain DUP around the city then I'll start over with the evil path.

I played the villain, got rid of the DUP quick by saving up those orbitals.

Still not done with the damn game because of the DUP.
