why? b/c of import costs or something else?I refuse to purchase one of those new DS4 from overseas ...I'll either wait until they are available in the US or I'll just buy a regular black one and call it a day.

it isn't lazy so much as it is cheap and its easy money.... my thing is and I guess its the buyer... but to rush out to buy a new system to play prior system games to which you already have the system iuno... Plus as far as dreamcast they failed for a myriad of reasons... It wasn't because of games.A. The Saturn didn't have a "The Last of Us."
B. Even in this mythical world where Dreamcast came out with 20-30 new games, look where Sega is now. Out of the console making business. So Sega is probably the last company Sony should model their console after. Games are way more expensive to make now, so releasing them to a install base of ~7 million isn't a wise business move. It doesn't have anything to do with being lazy. The industry is just different now.
I did this once with my 360...maybe it was just my bad luck but the controller didn't hold up as long as the one I bought in the states.. like the rubber on the sticks faded wore off faster... it iuno even tho it was a licensed product... it had me thinking I got some b grade factory variant controller.Yes. One of the reasons, in addition to it being a personal choice. The only reason to purchase overseas is if you absolutely cannot wait until it's available here. I'm in no hurry, I have patience.

I guess im just one of the few who buy a new system I expect and want new games... not repackaged games costing 60-70 bucks that I could easily walk into a used game store and get for 20 bucks or so...
definitely copping TLoU. Borrowed my friend's copy and never got to play the multiplayer which i heard is great and requires a team effort. Never played the DLC either.
Game is a masterpiece.
and for you X1 guys, you'd love it, it has guns.
Never played it always wanted to. Will cop the definitive edition

its not that im against don't like ports.... but when you have like 20-30 games its kinda excessive for only like 3 or so games being a new game... but yea tlou will sell hell all 3 uncharted games probably would sell like hotcakes...
I typically don't like ports, but I think Last of Us on PS4 will sell a lot of copies. I am one of the many people who had the Xbox 360 last gen and missed out on playing the original (I watched my roommate play through it tho). I know I'll pick it up once it's released, as well as everyone else who converted from the 360.

the mlb comparison video looks close enough to me. no reason to buy ps4 if you're trying to simply update graphics imo
