The RETRO Gaming Thread!

I pick up games at the most random places, lol

Went to buy some lotto and had to drive through an alley to avoid a cluster of cars trying to park inside the plaza. There was a homeless man digging into a dumpster and what seems to be yard sale stuff that didn’t sell. I pull over because I see a stack of PS3 games and proceed to ask if the discs are in there. Sure enough they were complete with manuals too. Dude said $1 each and I didn’t hesitate. I got Deus Ex, Resistance 2, The Fight “Lights Out”, Assassins Creed 3 and Call of Duty Ghosts.

Super random, lol.

This was the mario party game I played the most. The mic was a clean idea although it didn't work too well

You seem to have the best luck. Let’s go partners in the lottery!

any buddy play Valis III? PC Engine version is kind of a tough platformer for casual gaming, difficulty is reminiscent of CV3. not sure I've played it over 5 times TBH so maybe it's too early to speak to the difficulty, the music is amazing.

If you have an example of that music would love to give it a listen. :nerd:
well this is the arrange version of the game's soundtrack, in all truthfulness I'm not sure of the difference(s). I recommend to just play the game for the best listening experience, timestamp is at a pretty good song

I played part two on Turnografix. Three on Genesis.

Ragrats? Not playing Valis III, Lords of Thunder and Gates of Thunder and Y’s IV on the Duo.

I think I want a Colecovision console. My local spot sells the games for $3 each regardless of the title. They don’t have any consoles in stock at $130 but I’m sure I can do better on eBay or OfferUp.

I’ve honestly never heard of this system. Just looked it up. Just saw that it was released in 1982. It has a cool look from that decade/time period.

Oh, I’m just seeing that they re-released it! I’mma look into it. Who knows, I just might end up scooping one up myself.

It’s old school all the way! I was given one my uncle bought new but I lost the power brick for it. It was tossed out years ago and regret it. Yeah, they released a “mini” version but I don’t think it has many games, maybe 30? I’m nostalgic for the cartridge and crt tv so I’m going the original route.
