^^^It really seems like a dumb thing for Sega to do. Launch a 32-bit upgrade for your 16-bit system at the same time you launch the real 32-bit successor in Japan.
Just makes no sense. They were definitely doing too much off of the success of the American Genesis. Just displayed why they were a dysfunctional company with Japan and USA not being on the same page.
