the thread about nothing...

Slept over my main chick's place last night and she made me watch Crazy, Stupid, Love. with her. It actually wasn't a bad movie at all, pretty funny I might add.

Every time somebody mentions that movie, I always get it mixed up with that Julie Roberts movie Eat Pray Love, which has to be one of the most boring movies in existence. You're right though Crazy, Stupid, Love is pretty funny.

I know mad people on here have done transactions through Paypal. What I wanna know is, how can I tell if a buyer is sending me money as gift? :nerd:

you wanted to watch it.....

I graduated from college in May with a few good internships under my belt, experiences and a formidable portfolio, yet I'm unemployed. I feel like I should blame myself for not being employed ("economy" being a copout), but I see a lot of other people in the same spot. It's like you're one of the best players on the team but you aren't getting any PT.

Keep your head up, you'll find something. I settled for a job a couple months after I graduated last year; trying to get some experience then I'm out.

On another note, a replacement referee last night said, "by rule the 5 yard penalty is disregarded 15 yards first down" even though the 5 yard penalty was on the offense and the15 yard one was on the defense. When has that been a rule? Goodell needs to stop playing. These replacement refs have been awful.

Don't sleep on temp agencies...that can lead to a good job if you get placed with a decent company.
I had the worst experience with temp agencies and headhunters. Totally unreliable and never followed through with anything. That might have been because of my sub par credentials but I'm not really sure. I wouldnt rule it out though cause some of them seem to be legit. I've of others getting good jobs through them, just not me.

Try to go with specialist staffing services. That is, if looking for an accounting job go for an accounting staffing service...if engineering do the same.
