Went to see my dad in the hospital and he's still as stubborn as ever, refusing to deal with reality.
The nurses couldn't provide me any information as he didn't put anyone on his family contact list. The doctor said he's too busy to explain without making an appointment first.
He looked a lot worse than I expected; completely yellow as a lemon from head to toe, eyes included. Quite a few bruises too.
When I tried asking him about his condition he replied "you know, same as usual. Back and hip problems."
I then said I'd go ask the medical staff later for more information or see if they told my aunt anything more, to which he replied that I shouldn't do that and that it's none of my aunt's business. He should be thanking her she found him and brought him to the hospital in the first place.
Not sure how I'm supposed to try and comfort him when he completely refuses to acknowledge the reason he's in the hospital. Obviously it wouldn't be helpful to feed into that attitude but if I confront him he'll just blacklist me from visiting.

You're playing the good cards. If you know your father, play the way you'll be proud in the aftermath, make him understand that he isn't harming just himself but everyone else, included you, show him your pain, share his.

If he don't come to terms with you, man at least you tried and you can go to bed without that pondering in your head.

So im leaving the crib and as im walking down the street this junkie on a bike is coming towards me. As he gets closer dude trips out and takes his feet off the pedals, one shoe comes flying off and lands ahead of him and he runs over it, and loses control and falls off the bike. He gets up and starts cussing. I look at him and the shoe that didnt fall off his toes are sticking out and hes rocking sunglasses with only 1 lens. Looked like a pirate
