Got a letter in the mail today from social security about their decision to grant or deny my application for a disability allowance.
They have approved my application and I'll be getting a grand total of €7821,8 per year. So roughly €650 a month.
Wasn't expecting anywhere near that amount since I still live with my mom. That just about covers our monthly rent so now I can pay that for my mom.
Now that I've been granted an allowance I'm eligible for more benefits too like better healthcare coverage, lower gas and electricity costs for our home, free public transport, ...

$740 won't get you a nice place down here but you can find a decent safe place
