Glad that you enjoyed the work as well, looks like we got lucky with our drivers. I heard some not so nice things from other helpers while waiting for mine in the mornings.
This driver I got paired up with has been doing this route for 10+ years so right before Christmas we had all sorts of gifts waiting for us as we arrived at people's doors. I'm talking cookies, cakes, wine, vodka. We even got flagged down by folk who recognized him and they gave him cash several times a day. I've never seen that. Cool thing is he gave me all the cookies and cakes to take home since he knew I was a fan of chocolate.
I think the highlights of this whole thing was getting a steady paycheck, meeting my mom's favorite TV crush (Erick Estrada from C.H.i.Ps) and getting to see Vanessa Hudgens. She gave your boy a double-take and gave me a genuine smile. Got to see her booty up close too. We both bent over at the same time to put the boxes in the house and that booty was right in front of my face, lol. Those silk pajama bottoms of hers were filled out nicely.
I can go into greater detail. But I saw somebody celebrities in my route but I’m star struck peroson. Kept so real with people on this job some of them can’t even handle him. Im currently posed off at ups cause they messed up my paycheck and they haven’t fixed it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to work as seasonal helper even Jesus Christ himself. So mad at these people right now. For real.

I mean personally I've seen people try to downplay their ethnic background. Whether they say they're only X percentage or straight up complete denial.
With Filipinos, females especially, I've seen many claim that they only have a very small percentage of Filipino blood. They'll play like they're 75% Spanish or something. But they ain't fooling anybody

Sucks to hear about your check getting messed up. I'm supposed to pick up my last one this Thursday since I have to turn in the vest. My driver asked me to double check the hours so they match up with what we have written down. Plus, they owe me $100 extra for the full 2 week bonus.

I never realized those two actions were mutual exclusive. Like I'm a black man whether I talk about it or not, just me breathing and living is a celebration of it (and my family/birth place as well). I've felt the same way for any race of people.
