the thread about nothing...

Do you have a credit union bank nearby? They tend to have good savings accounts and are generally lower lending rates if you ever need a loan in the future (for house or car).

My jobs has a pay card and I can withdrawal for free at any CVS atm, but use credit union for savings and checking

I'm about to drop td bank or put them on reserve. their isn't any td bank In Houston texas. Gonna look into going wight chase or some other bank.

My job pays every Friday. Certain banks get it early on Thursday. I have usaa and usually get it on Wednesday afternoon. For some reason I didn't get paid today smh and other people at work with usaa got paid today. I technically can't say it's late until after Friday but this is thee second time I've had issues with pay. What's worse is rent is supposed to come out today :smh: Bruh I can't deal.
Bruh i been there smh. My bank likes to play games like my car insurance auto pays but they dont update the balances saying its been taken out. I check my car insurance website and yup its been paid. Then i buy something with my card and i get oh you overdrafted pay this little fee smh.

Take away that auto pay, that's what's messing you up and making the bank money with them overdraft fees. They know exactly what they are doing.

Already been done :pimp: i was saving money with auto pay tho :smh:

Try getting your direct deposit setup going to different banks if you can so and better bank that handles auto pay effecntialy and effectively.

My homeboy works as chase bank, so when I hado chase he always gave me tips and help return back and bank fees Chase finesse me with.

Didn’t u just get hired? U wanna go back to the jobless thread? Remeber those days?
You have a point but man I feel like a lion in a zoo while in corporate America. Is it really worth a 3rd of your life, and in some cases your health, to be in a stressful gig? I actually kinda like what I do, but the fact that I HAVE to be there afford this lifestyle is what's troubling. And it's a one year contract so it's not like I'd be leaving a career.

When I was doing uber eats full time, it was a physical grind but I was happy. Lonely at times but happy. And I was forced to do it full time to pay these bills. I'm single with no kids,

I just need to get away from being a slave to money. I can't deal bc I don't have a whole lot of it.

I was much happier in the east coast than living in texas. Almost exactly the same job duties. But man Texas is dull and a boring for me. The money could be slightly better but I won't complain too much. But I rather deal with hustle grind lifestyle that I created back in NYC than this slow pace life here in Texas.

Once this lease is up. I'll be brainstorming my departure plan miamI or back to my NYC.

The lead engineering team don't know what they are doing at my job. Once I get more formal education and experience. It lights out for these guys. For real.

Ok. I lived there a few years ago. Love the vibe there. I'm in Austin now.

I'd love to live in Austin despite some minor flaws, the cost of living being one of them. I love the city of Austin and I loved going there when I was in San Marcos, and I especially loved it out there when my mom moved there, but it's just so expensive. Once I am done with the military I plan on planting the Vandelay flag in San Antonio.
