the thread about nothing...

WTF is disrespectful about calling women "females"? Am I missing something?

Honestly I can see why it can be seen as disrespectful. When have you ever heard someone refer to a woman as 'female' in a positive manner? From my experience I've always heard the term used in a disparaging and generalizing manner.

The only times I can really think of where it isn't disrespectful are in medical/scientific/statistical reporting.

Seeing the weekly recap from my rec league, I don't understand how some of these players are going off during games. They're not great and the simply adjustment to make is to play up on them. People don't listen.

I'm ready to play ball this week.

Been watching Parks & Rec. The Office is way better. Chris Pratt's character is funny and Ron is ok but that's it. Amy Poehler isn't funny.

longa$s friday... Who's in dc tonight??

It’s because he starts talking about sports. I’m not going to have a serious conversation with someone about sports if they think it’s scripted
There is corruption in politics, banking, food industry, Hollywood, etc. Most people would agree to some extent. But somehow when it comes to professional sports, it is farfetched. That's the part that is the most baffling. So if someone says there is corruption in the government, you won't take them serious?

I never said that. As someone else said, I appreciate your way of thinking though. You could be wrong, or you could be right. Who am I to call it?

Hope everyone has a blessed weekend

Wow. Someone hit and run me.

A helpful bystander got the license plate number.

Thank god for the bystander. My car got its front bumper clipped on a corner one day and a bystander ran after the guy and got his info. When I got to my car there was a note on the window with the dudes info and number. Bless that person for looking out for me. I rarely park in corner cause of that incident.

Thanks fellas

It wasn't a bad accident at all.

I'm wondering why the driver didn't just stay. He risked getting arrested for a minor fender bender.

I drive a wrx. Not a bmw.
