Happy Saturday TAN!

Kinda sad I lost my money clip. One of my gym shorts’ pocket has a hole in it and it must’ve slipped through since it wasn’t clipped to any money. I’ve had that clip for over 10 years too. I’ve decided to not carry cash with me as often for this year because when I do I usually end up spending more and just use my CC that way I’ll get reward points too.

The 1st Hawthorne Heights was alright. Depending on the mood, I probably wouldn’t get annoyed by it being on. The second song and Red Jumpsuit, just hell no. A.F.I. was fine. Cute Without the E is a great song from a classic record. That’s peak angsty suburban white privilege “Linda I’ll kill myself if you hangup on me” music right there.

I know this sounds like hating but this whole "the economy is booming" thing is (IMO) a farce. Like all these people at work are like "my 401k is doing amazing!" but like its not real. You can't cash that money out until you retire in your 50s or later. So like cool the economy is doing well...but when it crashes in 20 years...right now means nothing. Like its just numbers until you realize it when you retire.

I can't seem to understand how you think "the booming economy" some how makes up for allowing corporations to ruin the earth by cutting back on where they can dump chemicals and frack etc. Cutting back on abortion clinics and putting super conservatives on the supreme court. Tax breaks for the rich/corporations. The growing national debt and wealth gap. I see how it comes across as hating and its good that unemployment is down but i hope the jobs that were added are decent paying and we raise the minimum wage so we can get more money to people that need it.
