the thread about nothing...

I’ve been watching a lot of crime/bank robbery movies today and it’s made me think....if you’re at a bank that’s being robbed whether you’re a customer or an employee, why the hell would you not comply? Why try to be a hero? It’s not like you’ll personally lose money and your life is on the line. **** all that, I’m going wherever you tell me, laying face down and putting my phone in the bag
if you're having a bad day and got nothing to lose :emoji_shrug:
reminds me of the michael douglas scene  yeah, i wouldn't advise trying to play hero

List what you ate.

Happy bday btw

Appreciated.

Pizza
Cake
Ice Cream

All vegan, of course. Basic, cookie cutter party food. I'm going to fast a week to burn this off. I haven't been excited nor cared much about my birthday since I was a teen, but my family is ridiculous with it. I actually forgot that it was my birthday a few times yesterday.

Im just saying. The money is insured and odds are they don’t want to kill you because it will make their heist tougher. I’ll never forget when I was younger overhearing my dad and uncle talk and them talking about how most burglars don’t want you to be home/have to kill you. No ones trying to catch that murder charge over 4-5 figures, B.

You're true about "professionals", what we can observe in Heat (we even have a robber in France who talked to Michael Mann explaining this movie inspired him to commit his robberies, his name : Rédoine Faïd), but sometimes, when you got unlucky, or if the robber is an amateur, or nervous, on drugs or whatever, it could became bloody : the character of Jean Hugues Anglade in Killing Zoe is not the one of DeNiro in Heat  2 very different types of robbers.

Plus between what robbers want and what they get, because in France we used to have robbers who didn't want to kill anybody but finished to do it, which precipitated their fall.

In this country there is a bad feeling against the police for a lot of years, and some robbers had a good image to people until they killed or did similar stuff like tortures I guess

Le gang des postiches, Jacques Mesrines, Rédoine Faïd

They were all know as professionals, but at the end some people get killed

You can trust no one or yourself, you're not in head of people, so when anyone claims he woulnd't kill or #### it's not always true, because you got the intention, the reality, and sometimes manipulation in order to get you somewhere

EDIT : Rédoine Faïd evaded several times, here are the video of its first one

Damn I thought they won 7-1 for some reason
Didn’t realize it was 8-2
Maybe you were thinking of us (Tottenham) getting 7-2'd at home by Bayern
I love how it only took about a year for that to no longer be the most embarrassing CL performance.

The crazy thing is I can't even say we played really bad in that 7-2 game. I'm pretty sure at halftime it was either 1-1 or 2-1 for Bayern.
We still created chances afterwards, it's just that Bayern literally finished every single chance they had after that.

I'm glad the super baggy pants and t-shirts were never a thing here, at least not in my area.
