been watching "i may destroy you" on hbo, since being introduced to michaela coel on "chewing gum" i've been a huge fan of her work. this show is incredible, given it's triggering subject matter her ability to create a show that touches on such serious subject matter stemming from her own experiences & the unfortunate experiences of so many women. the mixture of dark comedy, inappropriate situations juxtaposed with the ideas centered around consent, awareness, & boundaries, is something i've never seen in a show before.
