None whatsoever. I could work there for the next 10 years and still wouldn't be at the hourly rate of the new opportunityIs there growth potential at your current job?

That's what I'm thinking. I've gotten way to comfortable with the easy job. But when it gets down to the get down, I need to make this money2x your current hourly is legit life changing bruh. Take the gig.
I wouldn't be able to know, there's only 15 people total that work for the company and 4 in my position. Once the role is filled it's a wrap until somebody leaves. The last 3 guys before me left due to not enough hours and the money, so I potentially could get them to give me a raise but I don't think they are in a position to be able to even come close to matching. I'll complete my shadow day next Monday and I'll be able to fully make a decision. When I speak of happiness I don't necessarily mean in life, I'm talking more in the work environment. I really enjoy the small amount of staff and not having anyone to answer to really. However getting the new gig will allow me to not only take care of what I need, I'll be able to start doing things I want as well.I think it’s a no brainer that you take it if your old job would accept you back if things didn’t go like you’d like, but I don’t know how you’d find that out obviously
I just hear about people’s happiness being tied to being able to pay for the expenses they need and no more in terms of money, and the rest of it is just being happy with your situation. Celebrities say that ****. More money doesn’t solve anything past what you need if you’re not happy.
