the thread about nothing...

Quit ecig 3 weeks ago.

Idc what anybody says that **** is horrible for you. I notice a difference for sure in my lungs.

I got those nicotine lozenges from Walgreens. Maybe use like 5 a day.
Congrats man. You got this! You probably just made one of the best choices of your life by quitting. Idc what kind of smoking it is- nothing good comes outta that ****. I quit 2 1/2 years ago(hookah) & have never felt better or looked back. Lungs are stronger, stamina is wonderful. Once you get past the first 3 days & get over the cravings the rest is easy sailing. Stay strong bro & keep up the good work 👍 💪

Thanks bro, I don’t really feel like I’ve accomplished anything though tbh since I still am addicted to nicotine for the time being but hopefully I can quit those lozenges too in a couple months.

I’ve been smoking or chew since I was 15 so almost 20 years now. I’ve quit a lot of drugs and drinking but damn nicotine is the WORST. To stop using.

Hookah is crazy because it seems so mellow when you smoke it but the next day you feel like Mike Tyson rocked you in the chest.

You def will quit the lozenges too. Just keep yo2ur focus & determination.

15-20 is long & it'll take some getting used to. I smoked hookah just about everyday for 10 years & I hated the addiction had a chokehold on me & my will. You've quit the other stuff so you can quit this too, trust me. Nicotine is the worst, yes. Damn thing is so addicting.

Hookah is terrible just off the volume of smoke alone. It contains .08% nicotine & look how addicting that **** is with such a tiny percentage. Lol yup, the next day your chest hurts & for me it was like a bad migraine at times. Low oxygen levels as you're smoking it & then going to sleep afterwards so it all contributed to plenty of miserable mornings.

Hit a tree today, before and after. I shouldn’t have hit the tree… but I think I did a good job fixing it with a roller and couple wrenches to take it apart.

Still gonna get chewed out I bet. 🤷‍♂️

Bruh some sellers are delusional...

A lot are misinformed, thinks just because they see an item they're selling listed at a certain price (extremely high for no reason and been listed forever) that they can sell it for that same amount.

Recent example:

1.) Someone has a BUY IT NOW or best offer at $50. This item sells regularly at about $35-40. I make an offer for $35 which is a fair price, he gets insulted and counter offers with $50 (same buy it now price). I decline and message the dude, why even have a "or best offer" option if you're not going to sell it any less than your buy it now price? He says I'm a low baller and he knows what he has. Later that day someone was selling the same item for $25 buy it now in better condition. I buy it and im happy. Now the dude that said I low balled him and wouldn't take anything less than $50 is now messaging me and wanting to sell it to me at $35...I told that fool I already bought one for $25 and showed him my transaction lol. I even showed him other listings that listed after his that is below his buy it now price. Idiot.

2.) Someone has an item for $100 shipped. I message the seller that I'm a serious buyer and i'll offer $80. He says ok. He changes the $100 shipped to $80 and $20 shipping. Mind you this item was sitting for the longest so this was definitely a clown move. To this day, he still has that item sitting for sale and it's like at $75 shipped and still not moving.

To even further these clown's mentality, when I buy it for cheaper than my offer that was shot down by them, they have the nerve to message me sell mine and buy theirs so "we both win." wtf?

there are idiot sellers like that. don't put an offer option if you are not willing to negotiate. since he did that on purpose, might as well do another bid for $.01 .

While I understand the hustle, I hate resellers at the same time. The greedy asf ones, let me be more specific. Bro I found a dude on eBay with some heat! He had around 8-12 pairs I’ve been looking for again, we’re both in the same city, so I’m like hey bro is it possible for me to get better pricing and pickup local and we do 2 pair at a time so you feel comfortable. Not only would he not offer local pickup still even with me saying meet at a police station 🤦🏾‍♂️, but he wouldn’t even budge with pricing.

Sh*t blew tf outta me. I don’t ever even type long as post like this but I had to vent 😂😩

I'm going to say more than 50% of the sellers/resellers out there are uneducated about logistics and pricing. A lot of times they just don't know what they're getting into and how things should work. They ignorantly assume they'll get the price they want if they list or convey it. They're not realistic about their product and pricing it right. They just don't know the type of demand their product has and its real value.

That's why I don't like reselling things because it's normally never a fixed price since it's based on variables or logistics with a particular product. There's just no stability with it because you don't have a real number guaranteed to you.

I actually have no issue with people pricing their stuff however high they want because I will just pass on it if it's not a suitable price for me. I just dread when they change it after they list it. If they preferred a higher price, then they should have thought it over before they listed instead of changing it after they feel uncomfortable with a lower number after they listed it. That's just bad business to me. Just be transparent and firm from the start.

Here's an example of a seller I saw recently on eBay who's ignorant and unrealistic, I was watching an item he had listed for $39.99 starting price with no bids because I planned to bid on it at the last possible moment, then he cancelled the listing when he noticed he didn't have any bids. What's really dumb on his part was that he relisted the item at $89.99 starting price after I received an eBay notification about it. If he had no bids with a $39.99 starting price, how the hell is he going to get bids with a higher revised price? He's truly lacking logic with that one.

Just stay strapped whenever you do this or a pocket knife at the very least.

typically, when I go for meetups, I make sure that I know the place or atleast did some investigating beforehand. never had to go to a shady place and most often, the transaction is done in a public place or atleast my turf. I've heard stories about people getting jumped or ganged-up on, so I also bring a pocket knife with me which I thankfully I never have to use. I guess it also helped that I'm an older hulking guy so I can be quite intimidating.

While a gun or knife is always better, I also recommend carrying pepper spray because it should be legal in most places. I know California law dictates someone has to 18 and older to legally carry pepper spray. Some places even allow people to carry it in as long as it's used strictly for self defense and not to initiate an assault.

Found these today DS for 6 😌

In my top 5 js. Still have the suitcase from the wht/red pair  Came close to buying a wht/blue pair a few years ago but figured I’d be lucky to get 3-4 wears out of them before the soles crumbled.

that's what I meant. what is even worse are some of those sellers have bots that they self-bid on their item to jack up the price. I rarely won anything from those types of sellers and I always have a max price that I'm willing to shell out but smart enough not to get fooled not to outbid a bot.

Pepper Spray is a good option although quite risky as well. I have a co-worker who made a boo-boo of spraying it a little bit at work. it was annoying as hell.

I just had a seller do this to me the other day. Had the listing up, tried to buy the shoes and he wanted 700 dollars higher than what they were listed at. Talking about bro the value has went up. Well why not update the price in the first place
