The 9/11 museum is so sad & amazing at the same time. They did a great job preserving what they could. After you make your way inside & the exhibits begin...was the staff *****y about taking pictures? The firetruck, survivor staircases & all that was ok to photograph but once you go past that point & through the doors the staff didn't allow pictures when I went last year.
I didn't hear them say anything about taking pics, but I mostly just read the plaques & looked at the artifacts. It's definitely an emotional rollercoaster being there. Seeing all the faces of the lost people weighed heavy on me. I went to the small Tribute Museum on Greenwich st also and that was pretty tough to get through. Went into a room and talked with a survivor. Seeing everything after that got a little overwhelming at times.

Have you guys ever been to one of da nt summits? not sure if there have ever been any in the bay but have met some people from here and all were super chill 💯
I never have for a summit but met many at sneaker releases waiting in line. NTLA when it was in Beverly Hills was cool, we waited all night and the cops would chase us away. We’d come back minutes after that and laugh into the early morning. Pizza, donuts and hot coffee from the local 7-11. I could never do that again but it was fine with me in my early 20’s

Some of the those releases got wild back in the day and def feel you, was fun during the hs/college days but can’t imagine doing that now. Actually might have a better chance w fcfs releases cuz will never hit on the snkrs app and barely win raffles smh

Seeing all my favorite music artists or sports athletes, hell friends get old is amazing.

Longevity in life is most definitely a gift.

The official one was in San Fran back in 2016
I busted a mission driving from LA to SF and back in one day
Also went to the NT x LRG collab summit 14 years ago
Then went to the NT x Rif LA summit about 5 years ago
I have pics of all of the events
I’ll look for them and post them lol
I’ve met some really cool people on this forum. Most of the ones that stay in LA.
Even members in other countries.

Line cutter, fist fights, jokes, pizza, me waking up the entire line when my chair broke and made a loud *** bang. Peeps thought it was a gunshot 😂

FCFS is your best bet. I got denied on the snkrs app a few times and stopped trying.

Sold my old LG 65 E6P on ebay last month for $2,400... which is what I paid for it 5 years ago. Needed to make room for the 77 inch I had just bought. Anyway the TV usually goes for more (only other one listed RN is $4k) I was happy with just getting back what I paid for it.

Anyway I charged the seller $200 flat for shipping, after entering in the dimensions of the box and weight per the vendors website, cost for shipping was like $176. Had issues adding the proper amount of insurance too since ebay will only allow 1k for insurance. Only solution was to cancel the label and rebuy it at the UPS store, in which cast it would have cost more. Anyway I dropped the TV off to the UPS store and it was shipping from southern IL to somewhere in WI a few days later. No issues, thankfully.

Today I get an e-mail from ebay that they would be charging me additional shipping fees, which I am familiar with from selling shoes there. I try to manually change each label to 4 pounds instead of the 3 pounds they automatically put there every time because I do usually end up eating a few bucks in additional shipping fees. However, this time it was a bit more than a few bucks.

$1,200. That's how much they said I owed in addition to the almost $200 I had already paid. Needless to say I was not a happy camper this morning, but I think I got it taken care of. I am about done selling anything on ebay, after almost 20 years.
