the thread about nothing...

:wow: Wow! Never knew the Nazi part of Henry Ford- that is insane to say the least. Edison was a bit of a fraudster. He gets ALL the credit for inventing the incandescent light bulb when in reality it was a joint venture made up of a few individuals. What Edison did was retain & renew all the patents related to the bulb over and over and over again under his name that way he gets the lion's share of the credit & applause :smh:. Our school systems are quick to tell us Edison was the King of inventions having us believe that crap from an early age but Edison was no Saint. The bulb wasn't the only invention he hijacked btw, there's an entire list.

It's mind boggling how whitewashed, sanitized, and straight up made up the history that were taught in school is. I read a lot of history cause I find it fascinating and when I look back at what we were taught in school, they really only got the very broadest points correct i.e. there was a civil war, we fought in 2 world wars, there was a civil rights movement, etc. After that, pretty much all the background, reasoning, participation, etc surrounding these events they taught us was wrong.

Some good points throughout.

Reid @RVAReid I really want my people freed from the shackles of respectability. I don’t care about a Black woman running for office twerking on a beach. A reality TV show host was elected president of the U.S. It doesn’t get any more unserious than that. -

Straight up robber barons of the time.
The best way to put it
Yeah I know he had a lot of patent beef and ripped off Tesla on some things.
Tesla & a handful of other smaller name inventors of the time. In my previous post on Edison I forgot to mention the process & research of creating the bulb & a bulk of the heavy lifting on making it a reality was already done by the time Edison piggybacked onto it. When he arrived on scene the major issue was finding a sustainable way & material that'd allow for the bulb to stay on for long periods of time & increase it's longevity because w.e. copper like material they were using back then had a very short shelf life & would fuse quick. I rmbr in school they painted Edison as an all time hero & GOAT inventor...he is far from anything like that IYKYK. His museum is in Menlo Park, New Jersey...I might go there later this year & see what other lies they can tell me about him that my school teachers might've missed

Oh absolutely! No wonder why our education system as a whole is made a mockery of by outsiders. To piggyback on your 1st sentence- the history we're taught in school is the PG version of our nation's history. Yup, they only gave us the names to the events & the timelines...the important details were left out & don't you dare ask too many questions. America was always the victim according to my teachers. I remember while learning about the pilgrims & Indians I once asked my 3rd grade teacher "what about the Indians? what happened to them...where did they come from & where did they go?" I'll never forget her response, she answered "they were just there kind of, don't worry about them too much" like, OK, let's not talk about how they were tortured/killed/raped & all their lands from the East to the West was stolen. Dumped their tiny little populations that survived onto "reservations" & called it mercy. I legit didn't know what lynching was till like end of HS or that so many inncoent black men women and children had that atrocity happen to them. Not 1 of my teachers ever told us or discussed this part of American history but they always told me America is the greatest country in the world son.

Got da covids. Symptoms not too bad. Just a mild headache and fever. Felt a little fatigue Monday, thought it was from working out. Felt a little something still today, thought it was from work. Took a home test and it's positive. Got an appointment tomorrow for a lab test just to make sure tho.

take care fam. I also had the virus and still recovering. I thought I was already fine after 3-4 days of rest. I did a bit of a short jog for 2 days and did some workout and finished 2/3 of the whole routine. went jello and have to rest again for 3 days now as I'm feeling really fatigued and short of breath. my appetite is confused right now like wanting to eat but no appetite but still ate like I haven't eaten for days. now my stomach is so confused whether to throw up or eat. some mild stomach discomfort now and fatigue. gonna cook some steaks tomorrow.

Belgium Belgium I remember a while back you were saying you used to sell account handles.

What was popular except the obvious three or four numbers?
It can vary slightly depending on the platform but generally there are ‘themes’ that generate higher values than others.

An OG handle must always be a commonly known word, location or person. The exception is 1 or 2 letter usernames like X4 or something.

The most valuable username theme has always been “dark”, which sellers also typically advertise as “Dark [platform] OG (x chars) for sale”
Examples of such handles:
Hell
Satan
Devil
Dark/Darkness
Reaper
Kill
Blood
Vampire
Demon
Assassin
etc.

Another very valuable but rare category is status symbol profession handles.
These would include usernames like:
Boss
CEO
Manager
Billionaire
Millionaire
Wealth(y)
Owner

Animals are also very popular but they’re not quite as expensive because there’s so many animals that the average person recognizes.
Essentially just commobly known animals.

Excluding very short usernames (4 chars and under), those 3 are probably the most popular but there are many more categories out there that do well on the market.

Thanks for the heads up. Sorry to hear that, man. Hope you start to feel better again. One of the first things I did was see if I can do some light workouts. Google said no but thought maybe I can do a little after a few days if symptoms are still mild. Guess ima stay away from that for a while.

Took a Tylenol last night, that helped. So far just a mild headache and some soreness in the legs. No problems breathing or stomach issues.
