My previous role at work, that I was in for 3.5 years, was a situation where my direct supervisor NEVER checked in on me. We didnt work in the same building. She didnt stop by to see what or how I was doing. Barely called me to see what was going all.

Versus now, my current role involves me having 1 on 1 meeting with my boss every other week. **** gives me anxiety. I appreciate the support for sure, and prefer this vs never being checked on, but man it makes for long Fridays waiting for a meeting I wish didnt exist.

I feel this. I have 1 on 1s every week and sometimes I just have nothing to say or I only have a question or two, then I feel like I’m doing something wrong when I don’t have more to talk about.

At least for now they all seem to mean well but people who suddenly turn around and/or tick on my shoulder to compliment the jewelry creep me tf out
I feel like 99% of the compliments are from weirdos who don't respect boundaries. I have my earbuds in for a reason.
