R.I.P. Clarence Gilyard Jr.

I remember him primarily as Jimmy Trivette on Walker, Texas Ranger.

I also remember him as Theo on Die Hard.

He was also in Top Gun & The Karate Kid Part II. I learned in retrospect that he was in some TV shows preceding Walker, Texas Ranger.

It was interesting to learn that he was in lower profile movies and shows after Walker, Texas Ranger ended in 2001. The really interesting and cool thing was that he was a film and theater professor at UNLV the last several years.
