It was a cultural diversity potluck to boot so everybody was making their home countries specialty dishes. I only rocked with jollof rice, Indian curry chicken, lumpia, carne asada tacos and Korean fried chicken outside of the American dishes. Everybody was eagle-eyeing who was eating what so I had to put some food I don’t rock with on my plate to save face. You basically had to put everything on your plates to make sure nobody felt a way. I put all the food I didn’t fw on one plate and hid it under the other while throwing away. I love Asian food but a lot of the dishes had some type of seafood in it which I’m allergic to so it make for some awkward moments.They tried one potluck after covid we all voted that isht down. Our new owners trying to be big on employee engagement now tho. So they have random "card lucks" that aint bad. Every one that wants to participate signs up on the sheet as normal. Bring in a $10-20 gift card turn it in in the morning. Our clerk puts them in a different envelope, sometimes the company will throw in random $20-50 visa gift cards in addition to the ones we bring in. If someone brings in a $10 card they always balance it out to where you never get less than $20 in your envelope. They've done 3 now ive got two 25 visas, olive garden, mcds, and dominos cards still.

Bad wiring. Positive and negatives were probably too close or the ground was disconnected and it’s all tucked behind the walk. I did my wiring, if you overstrip and extend the cable they will react to each other. The big money was rigged but the smaller prizes weren’t. My cousin got all the tickets needed for an expensive mountain bicycle ($500) and the dummy never mailed them.
