it’s wild we can’t do this sort of national infrastructure stuff anymore. It’d get polarized and politicized and we’d end up with 3 different ways of doing it specific to different regions. Still embarrassing to me that the US doesn’t have the absolute best world class public transportation system. It’d create so many jobs and have such a large benefit to the population. We’re getting outclassed by China in an embarrassing fashion.
