Don't know if I have this specific location yet, but was granted a full time position with the security/loss prevention company that does Foot Lockers here in Houston.

Have you ever considered the possibility that there are other factors at play? Such as the fact that he violates the community guidelines with offensive comments towards certain demographics of people, for example?
It makes perfect sense that you would stick up for him, though, with your reasoning

TBH these "outings" are part of the job, but if you hit the ceiling no reason to go just to save faceAdministration at my job seems to be personally offended that I never attend holiday parties with the other department heads. Maybe they’re justified in feeling that way, but I spend enough damn time with these people as is, the restaurants they choose are trash and are in the opposite direction of where I live, and the timing is very inconvenient with the schedule I work.
Oh well, they’re not gonna fire me and I’ve reached the end of the road with promotions at this job so the consequences are basically nonexistent.
