You guys ever get the feeling that people are turned off by how fast you reply to texts? Ex sends me a text

"I need your help"
"with what?" I say
"oh never mind sorry"
"It's cool. Just hit me if you changes." I say
"Thanks"


All within the span of two minutes. I feel like this all the time,so much so that back in the day I wouldn't reply as soon as I saw it,I would wait until the amount of time that someone took to reply to my text passed to reply. If they took 5 minutes I'm waiting 5 minutes,if they took 40 minutes I'm taking 40 minutes . I've stopped doing that cause its crazy but from time to time i feel like I should cause prompt responses turn people off or can be perceived as thirst.

Bad omen for how this day is going to be. Was tempted to hop on twitter and stalk her page but good thing I deleted twitter off my phone.

If I'm browsing NT, more times than not I'm on mobile if I'm at home or whatever. I prefer it over the desktop view really. That's a good point about the quickness.

It's like OCD. If I know I have a message I have to open it because I can't stand having a notification and I know it's there. But if I don't reply I may forget. Then I look bad doing that.

I'm the same. I put my phone on silent whenever it needs to be and respond when I can actually check it. If I'm just out or at home, I'll respond fairly quickly. I personally hate people that take too long to reply. I understand if you're busy but sometimes I know people who don't have **** to do and it takes them like hours to reply. It makes you feel like they don't even wanna talk to you lol

I could hit her up about being sad about a certain sports team in my life that she knows I care about, to talking about Harry Potter, to asking her about **** I could send to her that I have still.

Nah I didnt even go look though. I just thought about it randomly. I'm not stuck on her or anything I legitimately thought she needed my help, but after I thought about it. I felt like it was a test like you said. I just dont see the point of playing such a game, we're supposed to be adults.

Yeah, that's pretty much me too. I leave my phone on vibrate all the time. I hate when my phone rings. I make my own ringtones from songs, which is completely useless since my phone is on vibrate all the time. I just hate having my phone ring obnoxiously at the exact wrong time with an inapproprate ringtone . So to avoid this, I put it on vibrate so the notifications are monitored
