Do professional soccer players ever get sick from playing in the rain? I mean 90+ minutes in the rain cant be good. (especially if its cold)

I've had this argument before with many family and friends. Not just about soccer players but cold and wet weather making us sick in general. Its not the weather that makes you sick, its bacteria and viruses that cause sickness. I remember watching a video explaining and debunking this myth. If I find it I'll post it here

Rain itself isn't a big deal at all unless we're talking a torrential downpour.
Wind, extreme cold, extreme heat, all worse than a little rain.
In my experience heat is by far the worse. Playing in LA or Dallas in the middle of July...

Son... I'm going thru this with my ex right now. So walks out on me two weeks ago, comes back then moves out again last night, just to continuously text me thru out the night how all these guys are all over her at the club, how this is so refreshing, and then this morning apologizes for her "drunk text" but continues to tell me how she got a brunch date with some dude she met last night.She hasn't left me alone all day. Smh
