But from experience the chihuahua breed is very loyal. They will basically be your companion and have a tendency to bond with one person. My chi-wiener would bark at every single male that walked into my ex's house. I walk in and he would run up the couch and stand on the arm rest to be at arm level so i could pet him. Really protective but really loyal. And yeah they are yappy at times it ain't that bad.

Yeah, I hate small dogs. I need a dog the size of a Jack Russell terrier or bulldog. No large dogs either. 

The hair that comes with my dog though.
