Skate 2's walking mechanics were horrible. 

I've played 95% of the tony hawk games, so I can make a fair comparison.

THPS3 was better than 4. The only good thing about 4 that I remember were the cool tricks and special characters.

3 had a better soundtrack. Gameplay wise, 3 and 4 were pretty identical. 

Lastly, the skate series is so much better than the thps series.

maybe it's nostalgia but overall i still think the Tonk Hawk games are better

the 2 series are hugely differnet, 1 is arcadey and both racking up huge scores while the other one is realistic and was about successfully landing tricks and having a good line

but the tony hawk games sountrack **** on Skate's soundtracks

Wasteland was the one that let you build parks for the first time right? I experienced so much nostalgia, loading up my old *** created parks.

Also my ridiculous created characters, such as the hulk.

My fav. level was from pro skater 3, it was the ship level where you can fall into the ocean.

The most memorable song to me was the ace of spades.

One of the things that thps had over skate is the game's humor.
