That last pic & the vibrant colors . So real & clean it almost looks fake. I've read you need a permit to enter this place. Did you get a permit or were you able to just get right in?

You have to book a tour. Ken Tours is a Native American tour company for the Canyon. Permits only $8 on top of the tour fee. You'll get a guide for your group. Best to book a tour after 12pm when the light shines through the crevices.
