I've actually purchased a few homages in the past, but I have not made any watch purchases of any kind in a few years and I'm tired of looking at my naked wrist lol. I wanted to know the general consensus in this thread before I inquired about a diver homage as I didn't want to potentially ruffle any feathers. Ive just always admired the classic versatile styling of the submariner, but as I am a new dad I can't really justify the price of a new Rolex at the moment. I've looked at the Invicta 8926, the Steinhart ocean series and a Parnis.
I feel like the Steinhart would be too large for my wrist. I'm not completely sold on the Invicta. The Parnis brand has caught my eye recently and they have both sterile and branded offerings. Here is the GMT homage:

I'm also open to any suggestions you guys may have particularly in the sub $500 range.

Thinking about getting a Tissot for my price range. Any reviews or recommendations about this brand? Worth it? I want something with a leather strap.

I'm into cycling and Shinola also manufactures bicycles and they had a pretty good buzz the past few years being locally made.

Looking for something versatile and low key. More so an Automatic and for everyday use. Constantly using my hands and looking for something
