not too bad, OP36 and no date sub goes up by $100

daytona goes up by $400

always sucks but it could be worse

got no choice anyways because by the time i actually get the call, there might 3-4 more price increases by then

Gold watches mostly went up. Gold going up def is a factor. I also think they'll cut production a bit.

Not a big difference for steel pieces but precious metals and Daytona going to be significant. Hopefully I can grab something next year.

doubt they cut production

the second temporary factory just complete late this year, kind of pointless to not utilize it after investing so much in it to produce more

Speaking of gold, I finally got my yellow gold Daytona back from the watchmaker. Swapped the Paul Newman dial for an OEM white dial, and it looks 100x better now. I never wore the watch before because of the red accents but now I think this might be my new daily.

And speaking of Rolex boxes, I have something special coming in an XL Rolex box in a few days

Rolex price increase kicked in since it's Jan 1st. Not much change for steel models but precious metals went up quite a bit.

others brands should do this  but if rolex does, people are probably not gon' wanna return em?

tissot snoopy
41mm x 14mm and $2k+ for a tissot is a bit much but its not bad once it goes grey

more speedy... at least its not a moonswatch?

Just had this talk in a watch group.. really wish rolex didn’t got to 42 with the explorer II

I get going to 42 for the yacht master which has the thicker case with the raised bezel

But for the flatter watches, think 40 or 39 is the biggest they should have gone

The only flatter watches I would say could size up is Daytona because that has more going on.. but that’s so much of a classic don’t see why’d you’d touch it.. but they did move the sub to 41, which I don’t kinda get

40 is perfect for the gmt and sub, figured those would be the fixtures.. and then mess with sizes for less popular models

But the 43 deepsea actually wears better to be than the 42 explorer II because of the case size

If the Explorer II went back to 40mm, there’s a high chance I’d make that my first Rolex. The width of the steel bezel is the perfect proportion - I’ve looked at many other (especially cheaper) GMTs and the bezel is just never quite as perfect as the Explorer II.

The Black Bay Pro would be the perfect watch for me if it was 3mm thinner. The 39mm is even better than the old Rolex 40mm.
