I don't think the future looks bright at all for England and I won't have that promotional Nike clip try to convince me otherwise. :lol

I had big hopes for him and Pogba in United's midfield. The former being the creative, attacking option. The latter serving as a physical force with rash challenges and dominance.

Pogba is blossoming at Juve. Also played well in the U20 WC helping to win it... I think he might've been named best player of the tournament too.

I love watching Juve play. Vidal is another one whose play is taking off... Conte better lead them to a better CL run...

Vidal's versatility is ridiculously valuable. Manager's delight. Can play the pivot, attacking midfield role, makeshift LB.

Does England matter?

In the video below, Greg Dike (FA chairman) expects England to win the world cup in 2022 and explains some changes that need to be set to make it happen. Also explains why England has done so poorly throughout the years. Makes some good arguments. However reading the ESPN article today has led me to believe and agree; that English Football has more a cultural arrogance surrounding the game they created. Basically, they think they're better than they are. That's something Dike failed to explain in this presser. In my opinion, England needs to start off by taking a more humble attitude towards the game and change styles - then start changing things technically and tactically.

The English Football problem could get even worse, I think it already has. With the amount of billionaire owners in the EPL, the English products are being set to the side. Importing Spanish and other foreign players in record numbers. I don't understand how Dike expects things to brighten up by 2022. I see it going backwards.

Ogbonna on FIFA is just unfair.

I haven't seen him play much in real life, hopefully I will catch some Juve matches.

I imagine it will work out about as well as Project 2010 did for the US.

So if he's not back im guessing Modric moves to CAM and Casemiro or Illarramendi move into CDM.

Which would start though, the 34 mil man or the younger 6 Mil one

Based on preseason work and Ancelotti's preference, Casemiro. But Illarramendi has more quality and a higher ceiling undoubtedly.

You would think Moyes would use Kagawa centrally, but his lack of playing time is odd. Is he not doing well in practice? I wouldn't think so since Asian footballers are always thought of as hard working.

Would it be accurate to say countries like Japan & Korea have more promising football futures (in terms of young/upcoming players) than England?
