Knew somebody was going to die when those zombies started dropping in like that.
The music and camera pans really had me thinking it was Glen, but then I realized that the point of the "close call" went back to the whole early Glen/Maggie scenes. It wouldn't have made sense for Glen to die there. Instead, it makes a lot of sense that Glen was able to escape (with some help), because it effectively confirms that he
can be a great husband and make smart decisions to keep his wife safe, even if he doubted that in himself during parts of last season.
Yeah, I really couldn't hear the new girl from the woods answering Rick's three questions either.
Him spitting into the water is a moment I didn't even notice, as I was so prepared for anything to happen that
too many of my sensors were running.
This is coming from a person who didn't really enjoy Season 3 that much: I thought this premiere was great
. Like the water angle and storyline if they extend that out, Darryl being the celebrity of the mini village they have there at the prison now, blonde farmer daughter going with the statue-type emotions the rest of her life now, the debate on how early is acceptable to teach kids how to shoot and use a knife (more than just Rick and his wife debating it in Season 2), and I bet Rick's son and the girl he told not to name zombies will fall for each other. Just could see them going that route.
