The Walking Dead - Official Thread

Good season opener but Rick is still that trusting after all the ish he been through. (The guys in the bar, Shane, and The Governor)

This.

Dude puts way more effort into trying to be the hero to the outside world than surviving with the group that needs him and has been with him since day one.

So Rick just gonna have the only iPod left huh?

...and get an electric shaver?

Where they charging, where they getting the power?

:lol
They did say that they were using car battery's and generators....so I'm pretty sure that they use said items to power their devices.I'm confident some of you just complain just to complain.

Good show as a business major I understand you cant have zombie smashing every episode cause that can get expensive.

Loved the Terminator show but robots smashing up each other took a toll on the show.

The longer the show goes on though, the more zombies scenes we LOGICALLY should see. If each season is an advancement in this widespread pandemic, then there should be more zombies --> the zombie problem should be increasing like a wave. I get that TV shows need to have the story ultimately drive the bus and not the violence, but the zombies should be unrelentless and **** by now. :lol

i've always wondered, do the zombies that don't find anything to feed on, just 'die' or go into some form of prolonged hibernation until they're activated by external stimuli? They're dead, but where do they get the energy from? Or has the virus given them the gift of perpetual motion? lol

I noticed that the camera also focused on 1 zombie at the fence with blood coming down the eyes which also the kid who died had blood coming from eyes as well lol

the writers were just giving us a glimpse of what it'll be like to watch season 4

^^^ I laughed :lol

The season opener was good, I really hope the show doesn't turn into one big love story of who loves who though, that would suck.

I think some people just went into this episode looking for reasons not to like it. Last season was terrible, but last night's episode really wasnt as bad as some of you are making it seem.

Soon as the boy said he was sick in that class and didnt feel good I already knew what time it was

I think its in the food supply. Why else would they show the pig Violet dead in the corner.

Maybe its in the air or maybe the pig caught it thru something in the food it eats or water it drinks.

I have a feeling in the next episode "Infected" that people in the prison are gonna start turning one by one and everybody is gonna start freaking out.....in the previews to the season you see a bunch of walkers in the prison

That was my first thought too. Him thanking Daryl in the beginning for the deer, the pig, and the way he died was something internal. Something is wrong with that meat. The animals probably ate a zombie and got infected.

I was happy when that kid died in the store. I wasn't the least bit interested in seeing that relationship with him and Herchel's daughter.

The show needed to slow down the pace.

I didn't find it bad. I think people expected too much.

I'm interested in D'Angelo's character.

I hate how they introduce characters just to kill them.

Carol's going to throw knives at Daryl if stuff starts happening between him and Beth. Beth will want to be someone who will be around longer than a few weeks.

Hmm you might be onto something pigs do have been known to eat flesh. Makes sense now.

after seeing the episode again

im 99% sure its the water supply

Rick feeds the pigs water and food....Violet dies

The kid eats a infected animal OR drinks some of the water supply

Herschal says to Rick something like "If you dont take your gun you risk your life. If you drink the water you risk your life"

idk just throwing clues out there

could the Governor have contaminated the water supply to the prison knowing it would infect the goup one by one from the inside out and have them on the run.......:smokin

A dead walker or a walker is probably in their water supply. I wouldn't be surprised if the governor and his remaining goons through the walker in it.

I hope thats not the case.

How would they explain everyone not dying/turning form the infected food/water.

we have to assume everyone doesnt die this way, so why would rick/darryl/carol/carl etc be immune but not others.

either way the show is gonna run into that problem

doesnt matter if its food supply, water supply, or a flu like airborne virus from everything being out there so long

im sure they will explain it

Whoever the contractors that made that department store need to be fired. Zombies don't just fall through the roof and crash through the ceilings. Yup. Finding things to complain about.

that part was cool

I was like yooo when that one zombie fell and blood splattered everywhere.

Dexter would be proud.

She's just a child damn...

Carl was doing the same .... with the pig.

Also Carl was playing with the walkers two seasons ago, which got Dale killed.

So, by your logic, Carl should have been eaten in season 2.
people BEEN wishin for this lol
