It's dumb to push your kid towards your interests. Let him/her form their own path.

And doods talking bout lamelo gonna be a lottery pick?
in WHAT LEAGUE?
nah lebrons 2011 is worse. a nut shooting a team out of a series still isn't as bad as the best player in the world wetting the bed against an inferior opponent.good come back by shaq. kobe got a pass for that series. He clearly was trying to be the MAN, trying to win MVP finally and what happened? he shot less than 40% AND you got out played by 2 guards who won't ever make HOF. clearly the worst finals performance by HOF player with at least 2 rings in NBA/WNBA history. know your role, shaq was better you were just a sidekick kobe. if lebron had a series like that he gets killed left and right
He’s going lotto
Folks literally looking at advanced stats for advanced stats to show Lonzo had value as a #2 overall. Let's be real...Lakers drafted Greivis w/ defense. Put him on any other team with the hype and numbers he put up, the word "bust" would have been thrown around more.
Hey now - I think you may be undervaluing that “with defense” part. I’m told that not having Lock-Down Lonzo available more is the reason the Lakers missed the playoffs last season.
I think Gentry will be a good coach for Lonzo. And TBH, I would start Lonzo-Jrue-Redick together with Zion and Favors.
Props for being a good fatherAgree. That’s why I’ve never pushed my son toward sports. I’ve put him in position to try certain things, but if he didn’t like it, I didn’t keep pushing it. It’s been real interesting to see the kind of stuff he’s gravitated to on his own. Things haven’t gone as I expected before I had a kid and I’ve learned to embrace that.
All that said, I think it is fair to make your kid think very carefully about pursuing an interest that you feel is dangerous or has other big drawbacks.

48 FTs in 47 games folks on here iirc said he could be an all star by year 2
Props for being a good father
The cats in the deep south gon keep being the supply of talent...football runs deep in alotta places down thereI don’t know how it’ll sustain itself for another 30 years.
The amount of toxic masculinity that it essentially endorses combined with the tangible physical long term effects of playing the sport has me thinking it won’t last much longer relatively speaking
FutbolMy kid playing soccer before football
Dude is a mess. His brain is scrambled eggs. I feel bad for him.
