Clippers did a great job containing Harden in the 1st.
He didn't force anything either.

Every time the Lakers lose its “oh this game doesn’t matter”

No. The Lakers are just asking for the same treatment the Clippers get. Whenever the Clippers lose, the excuse is "they're playing for May and June, this game doesn't matter" or "they're not trying anyway".

The Lakers lost to the best team in the league on the road by 7. we got down early and battled back to make it a competitive game in the 4th quarter I can't think of too many teams that are going to beat the bucks in Milwaukee when Giannis is hitting 5 three-pointers. Regardless, we lost, that's it. The bucks are great team. let's keep it moving

Exactly

Obviously we want the Lakers to wing these games, but i'm not willing to go into panic mode because we lost close games to teams that many picked to be in the Finals along with us.

We've played the Clippers once & the Bucks once both were winnable games in the 4th, Despite Bron playing like *** in both. tough losses but watching both games there's very attainable things we can do to beat both squads come playoff time.

After watching both these games the one glaring thing i've noticed is that against great defenses we do need another playmaker when Lebron is off, on the flipside the bucks are lacking in that department also.

Clippers are in the same boat IMO, Trez & Lou can create for themselves but at the end of games there's A Lot of iso there also.

One of Cook/Daniels has to go for someone who is more than a shooter.. Just a guy who can come in and score in flurries would have been huge tonight, I still have faith that Kuz can do that but one more wouldn't hurt.

Harden was the obvious answer lol.
It has to be an emotional roller coaster playing with those two.

harden's variance has increased because he's taking way more 3s than ever before. In years past he'd post at 15 feet or just spam drive + euro step. 17-18 was cool because when Harden's shot wasn't falling, CP would always come in, slow things down, and somehow get a bucket. Now it's Russ just doing Russ things.

I usually don't watch much basketball until after the All Star game because of football season
But with all the changes in the league I've been giving a few teams some attention

The biggest glaring issue I see with the top teams is with the Clippers
They don't have anyone to protect the rim
When I look at their highlights I see dudes just going to the rim with no hesitation

^^^ Russ being Russ is always going to be a double-edged sword, but he really won that game for the Rockets last night. Clipps couldn’t match his attacking. Russ and PJ’s defense on Kawhi made the difference.

Theis has been really good defensively and has protected the rim well. He just has trouble defending the league's elite bigs 1v1. Pretty much all of the other bigs in the league struggle with that too though, which is why I hate seeing all these dumb trade proposals involving Hayward for guys like Steven Adams.
